Running Back To You – The Play

Tom and Rachael are more than your typical fun loving young adults. They are completely sold out to Christ. Everyone in their church looks up to them and sees them as flawless Christians. Tempted, Tom and Rachael fall into the sin of fornication. With the weighted burden of living up to everyone else's standards, their secret becomes unbearable and Tom and Rachael do the unthinkable. Faced with no way out or so they've come to believe they choose to walk down a path that no one should ever have to. This act pulls them further from Christ; sending them into a downward spiral of depression. They force themselves into thinking there is no way Christ will accept them back, that they have gone too far. They think the best thing is to run back to Christ but there is only one problem: their friends are in their way. Faced with the decision of returning to Christ or tolerating the grief, by accepting methods of escape posed by their friends; Tom and Rachael have to decide if losing their friends is too steep a price to pay in order to be restored to Christ.
